Mount Pleasant Cemetery

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is significant to us as it was our first foray into design for cemeteries. As an active and much-used landmark cemetery in Toronto, Mount Pleasant has continued to provide us with opportunities to collaborate.

Our initial involvement with this historic site provided a connection between the cemetery and Toronto’s Beltline multi-use trail system. Since then we’ve developed a central memorial fountain, upgraded the Garden of Remembrance, and introduced several new cremation gardens.
